Goodna SEE students – April Garage Sale
Goodna SEE students, organised a garage sale in order to simulate the process of engagement with the wider community.
They bought and sold household articles with the added benefit of the activity helping to improve communication and numeracy skills.
A key element of the activity was the concept and importance of recycling a wide range of everyday items and giving them a second life instead of throwing it away.
The Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program provides language, literacy and numeracy training to eligible job seekers, to help them to participate more effectively in training or in the labour force.
