Goodna in April
Goodna SEE participants, organised a garage sale in order to simulate the process of engagement with the wider community. They bought and sold household articles and the activity not only helped improve communication skills, it also helped enhance numeracy skills. Furthermore it reinforced the concept of recycling stuff instead of throwing it away.
The Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Programme provides language, literacy and numeracy training to eligible job seekers, to help them to participate more effectively in training or in the labour force.
