Work for the Dole places job seekers in activities where they can gain skills and experience that give back to the community and can help them find a job.
Eligible job seekers registered with a Job Active provider will need to participate in Work for the Dole or another approved activity for six months each year to keep receiving their income support if they have mutual obligation requirements.
Career Employment Australia Ltd. (CEA) has developed a range of Work for the Dole activities and is an active Host Provide across South East Queensland.
The range of opportunities available to suit your needs include;
Being involved in Work for The Dole activities gives you new opportunities to build on your existing job skills, learn new skills, network with employers and improve your chances of finding a job.
An initial interview with your Job Active Provider will consider your personal circumstances and to identify suitable activities to include in your Employment Pathway Plan (EPP).

CEA is involved in Work for the Dole Activities from Caboolture to the Gold Coast, including Russell and Macleay Islands.
If you have been unemployed for 12 months, you may be required to participate in one or more Work For The Dole activities which will help you develop skills and experience work-like environments.
